Hit Parade: Whitmore Gets Cycle Thursday, August 13th , 2048 Josh Whitmore of the Spokane Indians helped his club in a big way today, hitting for the cycle in their 9-2 win against the Lowell Spinners. The 4 hits, 2 RBI and 3 runs scored for Whitmore led the way for the Indians. "It was just a perfect day at the ballpark," Whitmore said later. Josh Whitmore struck out in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 5th, tripled in the 7th and hit a solo-shot off Armando Berrios in the 8th. This season Whitmore is batting .315 with 9 home runs. |
