Thursday, August 13th , 2048
In a powerful performance that left the fans at Memorial Stadium buzzing, Rome Braves first baseman Tamaichi Sasada blasted a trio of home runs en route to a 11-10 win over the Boise Hawks.
"Everything was clicking," Sasada told the press. "My timing was good and I got pitches I could handle and I didn't miss them."
Sasada shined brilliantly in the win, with 4 hits in 5 at-bats, 6 RBIs and 4 runs scored.
"It's not just one guy, it's everybody," Braves manager James Zamarripa said. "Tamaichi played great but it takes more than one guy to win a game."
Tamaichi Sasada singled in the 2nd, grounded out in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Ricardo Roman in the 5th, hit a three-run home run off Ernesto Galindo in the 6th and hit a two-run home run off Don Carriere in the 8th.
This year Sasada has hit at a .337 clip with 111 RBIs, 35 home runs and 79 runs scored.
