NYP Honors Garcia, #1 Batter in August Tuesday, September 1st , 2048 To Tony Garcia, age is just a number. He may be 38 years old, but the Chicago (NYP) White Sox second baseman proved in August that he's still got what it takes to compete at an elite level. With a .281 average, 5 home runs, 29 RBIs, and 20 runs scored, Garcia had all the numbers that counted and has won the McNamara Division Batter of the Month award. Thus far this year Garcia has hit .262 with 22 home runs and 76 RBIs. |
