McNamara Division Won: Canadians on Top
Tuesday, September 22nd , 2048
The Vancouver Canadians are champions of the McNamara Division, but don't plan the parade quite yet.
"It's a nice accomplishment, but we haven't done anything until we win the World Series," said reliever Danny Cervantes. "We're going to celebrate this for sure, but the real celebration is still to come for fans in Vancouver."
The club's record currently sits at 119-31. It is the team's 24th division title and they will be seeking the franchise's 13th New York-Penn League championship.
Team manager Javier Baez said he plans to take some time to celebrate the division title, but then it's "back to work" for members of the team and coaching staff.
