Lake Monsters Out of Playoff Race Tuesday, September 22nd , 2048 It's back to the drawing board for the Vermont Lake Monsters. The club's efforts at building a championship contender fell short this year, as the team was officially eliminated from playoff contention today. Before this season, the Lake Monsters had made the playoffs 4 times in a row. In the 33 years they have been a New York-Penn League franchise, they have missed the playoffs 13 times. In the last 10 seasons, the Lake Monsters have made the playoffs 5 times. Vermont last won the World Series in 2032. |
