Canadians Cruise to Conference Championship with Sweep Wednesday, October 7th , 2048 It's a sweet sweep for the Vancouver Canadians and they have won the Divisional Championship. The Chicago (NYP) White Sox were not able to keep pace with the Canadians and dropped the series in short order, losing 3-0 in the deciding game. "This wasn't really the effort we hoped for," said Chicago (NYP) manager Sean Nolin. It's now on to the Conference Championship for Vancouver after their 4-0 series win. Leading the way for the winners was left fielder Mike Johnson, who was named MVP. For the series, Johnson hit .615 with a .615 on-base percentage. He had 0 home runs, drove in 5 RBI and scored 2 runs. The Conference Championship matchups and schedule will be announced after the Divisional Championship finishes. |
