Vancouver Advances to World Series Friday, October 23rd , 2048 After their 5-4 win today over the Spokane Indians, the Vancouver Canadians will advance to the World Series. Despite coming out on the losing side, the series MVP award went to Spokane first baseman Josh Whitmore. Whitmore told a reporter from the Spokane Herald that he was disappointed in the loss, and hopes to be back next year competing for the World Series Vancouver won the series 4-2. The World Series matchups and schedule will be announced after the Conference Championship finishes. |
