NL Selects Top Manager, Spikes Schmidt Wins Wednesday, November 18th , 2048 Alex Schmidt, skipper of the State College Spikes, was voted 2048 National League Manager of the Year and accepted the award earlier today. He guided State College to first place in the National League Central with a 105-45 record. "I'm very happy about this," he said at the press conference. "But I'm more happy about what my boys did on the field. They battled their butts off for me all year. They should get the credit." |
