In the twilight of his career, Victor Walshe has no intention of going anywhere anytime soon. The 35-year-old Indians starter hoisted up the McNamara Division Outstanding Pitcher Award earlier today, silencing critics who thought it was time for the "old man" to retire.

Walshe crafted an ERA of 1.79 as he won 26 games, dropped 2, fanned 285 and gave up 31 walks in 236 innings of work.

He received 30 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Jonathon Crunk of the Vancouver Canadians finished second in voting, while Robby Granados of the Vancouver Canadians finished third.
