Spokane Pitcher Gets Most Valuable Player Award Friday, November 20th , 2048
It's a rare enough accomplishment for a pitcher to be named a league's most valuable player. It's even more rare when that player is a 35-year-old, who some might have thought had his best years behind him.
But Victor Walshe definitely put forward a brilliant season for the Spokane Indians in 2048, and has won the McNamara Division Most Valuable Player Award.
The Spokane ace made 32 starts, compiling 236 innings, with a 26-2 record. He struck out 285, walked 31 and put together a 1.79 ERA.
