Yun Twirls 22-0 Shutout Monday, August 31st , 2048 The bats were ice cold today for the San Francisco (APP) Giants at American Legion Field. Danville Braves starter Pu-la Yun kept the Giants cold all day, shutting them out in a 22-0 victory. In a fine outing, the 21-year-old hurler allowed 4 hits while striking out 11 and walking 0. "I'm not quite sure what was different today," Yun admitted later. "I didn't feel like I was doing anything differently, but the results speak for themselves." This season Yun has registered 5 wins and 6 losses in 17 starts with a 4.40 ERA. |
