Dimas on Fire, 5-for-8 Against San Francisco (APP)

It was a parade of hits for Danny Dimas of the Danville Braves at American Legion Field today.
Connecting almost every time he went to the plate, Dimas finished the day with a total of 5 hits in 8 at-bats. His strong individual effort propelled the Braves to a 27-0 victory.
"Dimas was really good and we were really bad," groaned Giants manager Patrick Scoggin. "Next time he's that hot, we'll just walk him."
Danny Dimas struck out in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Sam Green in the 2nd, hit a two-run single in the 2nd, struck out in the 3rd, grounded out in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, hit a two-run double in the 6th and singled in the 8th.
For the year Dimas is batting .273 with 15 home runs, 58 RBIs and 82 runs scored.
