Langlois Goes 6-for-7 Sunday, October 4th , 2048 It was a sensational day at the plate for Steve Langlois as he led the charge to a 36-1 win over the Giants. The Johnson City starting pitcher was pure misery for the San Francisco (APP) pitching staff. He left them shell-shocked with 6 hits in 7 at-bats in an explosive display of hitting. "Langlois put the ball into play and he really hit it hard," said Patrick Scoggin, manager for the Giants, after the game. "When you do that, you've got a good chance to do some damage. And that's what happened. I feel like we threw some good pitches, but he just put some good swings on the ball." Steve Langlois hit a two-run home run off Corey Foster in the 1st, walked in the 2nd, grounded out in the 4th, hit a three-run home run off Justin Tidwell in the 5th, hit a two-run single in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th, hit an RBI single in the 7th, hit a sac fly in the 8th and hit an RBI double in the 9th. On the season Langlois has 4 wins and 1 loss and a 1.29 ERA. |
