League Punishes Pair for Fighting Tuesday, October 13th , 2048 Baseball officials have suspended two players for "inappropriate and aggressive conduct" in yesterday's San Diego (APP)-Danville contest at San Diego Padres Complex. The Padres Justin Daley and the Braves Andrew Stanek will have to sit out 6 and 4 games respectively for their parts in the brawl. This season Daley has hit at a .307 clip and produced 152 RBI, 48 home runs and 125 runs. For the season Stanek has made 27 relief appearances, recorded no saves, compiled a 3-3 won-lost mark and a 7.04 ERA. In pitching 62.2 innings, he has totaled 67 strikeouts and 46 walks. |
