Season Over for Parsons Wednesday, October 14th , 2048 Matt Parsons had hoped for the best, but expected the worst. Today, he learned from the Elizabethton medical staff that he would miss the rest of the season. The Elizabethton starting pitcher suffered a torn flexor tendon in his elbow in an earlier ballgame. He admitted to being discouraged, but said he plans to come back strong next year. Thus far this season Parsons has posted a 10-9 record, started 28 games, struck out 112 batters in 122.1 innings and compiled a 6.47 ERA. |
