Padres Cruise to Conference Series with Sweep Tuesday, November 10th , 2048 It was a sweet sweep for the San Diego (APP) Padres as they eased past the Washington (APP) Nationals to advance to the Conference Series. San Diego (APP) won the final game by a 6-3 count and the series 4-0. "We're just fortunate to get through it quickly and be able to rest up for the next series," said Kevin Davis, who was named series MVP. For the series, Davis hit .556 with a .692 on-base percentage. He had 1 home runs, drove in 4 RBI and scored 5 runs. The Conference Series matchups and schedule will be announced after the Division Series finishes. |
