Texas (APP) Takes Conference Series in Deciding Game Sunday, November 22nd , 2048 Appalachian League pundits who figured the Conference Series between the Texas (APP) Rangers and Great Falls Voyagers would go the distance were right on the mark. The two teams battled back and forth in a spirited series, with Texas (APP) coming out on top thanks to a 3-2 win in the deciding game at Texas Rangers Complex, to wrap things up 4-3. "You get to the last game and anything can happen, so we're overjoyed to come out on top," said Rangers first baseman Luis Reyna, who was named series MVP. For the series, Reyna had 9 hits for a .360 average. He had 1 home runs, 11 RBI and scored 6 runs. The World Series matchups and schedule will be announced after the Conference Series finishes. |
