Santana Named Top Reliever for AL Saturday, December 12th , 2048 He may only be 22, but Mike Santana of the Detroit (APP) Tigers has already established himself as one of the elite relievers in the American League. The reliever was today named the AL Reliever of the Year winner for 2048. He won the award with a strong year that saw him put up 17 saves in 72 relief appearances and 188 strikeouts in 116.1 innings. He had a record of 7-4 to go with his 1.86 ERA. He received 30 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Alex Amparo of the Detroit (APP) Tigers finished second in voting, while Su-wu Pi of the Cleveland (APP) Indians finished third.
