Ricky Enriquez was a calming influence out of the Johnson City Cardinals bullpen this season.

His teammates and manager said he had a poised demeanor about him that was typical of someone much older and more experienced. His poise has paid off, as the 25-year-old turned in a sparkling season and has been named the winner of the National League Reliever of the Year for 2048.

The Guisa, Cuba native won the award with 5 saves in 44 relief appearances, 121 strikeouts in 99 innings and a record of 9-1 to go with his 1.73 ERA.

He received 30 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Dave Waterman of the San Diego (APP) Padres finished second in voting, while Mohala Kileona of the Danville Braves finished third.
