Ogle and Aaron-Lee Frank Silveira Fight, Get Suspended Thursday, May 14th , 2048 Yesterday at Progressive Field Nick Ogle and Timmy John Aaron-Lee Frank Silveira got into each other's space and then into each other's face. They began to grapple and fell to the ground. That's when it boiled over into a full-fledged bench-clearing tussle between the Cleveland Guardians and Cincinnati Reds. Reason finally prevailed as the umpires restored order. After much discussion, only the two major combatants were ejected from the game. Today the league office notified the ballclubs that Ogle will have to sit out 3 while Aaron-Lee Frank Silveira would be given a 6-game suspension for their roles in the brawl. This year Ogle is batting .291 with 6 home runs. He has scored 14 runs and driven in 23. For the year Aaron-Lee Frank Silveira has collected no saves in no relief appearances. He has also notched 41 strikeouts and 21 walks in 41.2 innings while registering a 4.75 ERA and a 3-2 won-lost record. |
