League Rules Melley Out 3 Games Friday, October 2nd , 2048 Bob Melley is not exactly engendering good will with the men in blue these days. At least that was the case yesterday at the Washington-Atlanta game. He became highly abusive when he was called out on strikes. That behavior was unacceptable to league disciplinary officials and they notified the Nationals right fielder that he had been suspended for 3 games. Thus far this season in 148 games Melley is batting .255 with 10 home runs, 45 RBIs and 58 runs scored. He has 123 hits in 482 at-bats. |
