San Francisco to Lose Welshman for 5 Months Friday, October 9th , 2048 The injury that has kept Tim Welshman out of action since 10/08/2048 will keep him out a while longer. San Francisco Giants officials made the announcement this afternoon. They said that Welshman is expected to miss at least 5 months with a torn back muscle. Presently Welshman has a 9-3 mark in 7 starts with a 3.31 ERA. He has given up 91 hits in 108.2 innings, struck out 122 and issued 54 walks.
