Arizona Advances to League Championship Series Wednesday, October 14th , 2048 After their 7-4 win today at AT&T Park over the San Francisco Giants, the Arizona Diamondbacks will advance to the League Championship Series. Arizona won the series by a 3-1 margin. Leading the way for the Diamondbacks was catcher Alec Thorpe, who had a spectacular series and was named MVP. "I don't play differently in the regular season or playoffs. I just go out and do my best every game," he said. "It's certainly nice to play in the big game, but you can't let it get to your head and change your focus." The Arizona Diamondbacks will play against the Atlanta Braves in the next round.
