Washington's Lionardo Rabelo Suffers Setback Wednesday, October 21st , 2048 Washington Nationals reliever Lionardo Rabelo got another setback today. His doctors informed him that his injury was not responding to treatment as well as they hoped and that he would need more time to rehabilitate. If all goes well, they expect Rabelo to be ready to go within 4 weeks. He told BNN, "I didn't expect elbow tendinitis to take this long to heal." This year Rabelo has made 45 relief appearances with no saves. In 70.1 innings, he has permitted 58 hits, fanned 90 hitters and recorded 4 wins and 5 losses with a 3.58 ERA. |
