Rivera Crashes 3 HR Against Houston Monday, June 8th , 2048 It was a terrific day today for Alex Rivera, who ripped three home runs at Ballpark of Amarillo, and a disappointing one for the Amarillo ThunderHeads who nevertheless dropped the game to the Houston Colt .45's. "He was instant offense today," Amarillo skipper John Zumbo said. "Alex really put on a show. He more than did his part. We just didn't come through with hits at the right time to win the game." For the day, Rivera collected 3 hits in 4 at-bats, scored 3 runs and had 3 RBIs. In the postgame press conference he told the reporters he has always liked to hit at Ballpark of Amarillo.
