Oaks 3B King Suspended 4 Games Thursday, June 18th , 2048 "Deplorable conduct will not be tolerated in this league, especially if it is directed toward our umpires." That was the gist of the league commissioner's notification letter to the Oakland Oaks organization advising them that third baseman Chris King had been suspended for 4 games for his heated confrontation with the home plate umpire in yesterday's game with Tijuana. He became furious over a called third strike. So far this year King is batting .140 with 3 home runs. |
