Injury Derails Season for Sellick Wednesday, June 24th , 2048 "Not what I wanted to hear," said Houston's Joe Sellick to reporters this afternoon, as he revealed that the injury he sustained on 06/19/2048 would force him to miss the rest of the season. "The doctor made it clear," Sellick said. "There's no chance for me -- none at all -- to come back this year. That's the last thing I wanted to hear." Sellick has been out of action since he suffered a damaged elbow ligament. This season Sellick has recorded no saves with a 1-0 record. He's made 12 relief appearances, tossed 14.1 innings while fanning 21 with a 3.14 ERA. |
