Americus Shut Out, 5-0, By Oaks, Waters Saturday, August 1st , 2048 Bob Waters blitzed the Americus Braves at The Big Americus Stadium today, pitching the Oakland Oaks to victory, 5-0. Waters needed 9 innings to shut out the Braves, striking out 9. "I knew he had it in him, but it's still nice to see him put it all together," said Oakland manager Matt Orlando. Waters surrendered 5 hits and no walks in the outing. So far this year Waters has compiled a 6-9 record with a 3.17 ERA. |
