League Issues 3-Game Suspensions for Brawl Wednesday, August 5th , 2048 The league commissioner has issued 3-game suspensions to Quincy Smart of York and Jeremy Brown of Windy City. The two players were involved in a confrontation during a recent Revolution-ThunderBolts game at Revolution Field and now will miss time because of it. Neither player would comment on the suspensions. So far this year Smart has 4 home runs and a .247 batting average. This season Brown has been credited with no saves. In 5 relief appearances and 14 innings he has a 0-0 won-lost mark, a 6.43 ERA and 15 strikeouts. |
