Cekic Twirls 7-0 Shutout for Flames Tuesday, August 18th , 2048 Calgary Flames starter Jason Cekic tamed the Joplin Blasters, 7-0, on 2 hits, finishing the game with 11 strikeouts and 5 walks in a sharp outing. "I enjoy facing a team like that where I can get an out on one, two or three pitches," Cekic said. "It gives me a chance to be a lot more aggressive." This season Cekic has a 4-3 record with a 2.20 ERA in 16 starts. |
