Victoria third baseman Jesus Santiago thrice sent eager fans scurrying to catch a souvenir, helping lead the Victoria to a 6-3 win over Roswell. "Hey, the three homers were great, but I'm just trying to help my ballclub," Santiago said later. "I'm not going out there thinking I need another home run." Santiago was 4-for-5 on the day with 5 RBI. Jesus Santiago hit a two-run home run off Elias Reyes in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Elias Reyes in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Henry Jesso in the 7th and grounded out in the 9th. So far this season Santiago has put up a .300 batting average with 92 hits, 47 home runs and 84 RBIs. |
