Santiago Slams 3 Deep for Victoria Thursday, August 27th , 2048 Players don't hit three home runs in a game very often and when they do, it is something to celebrate. After today, Jesus Santiago can celebrate. The Victoria Capitals third baseman powered three into the stands at Ballpark of Victoria today against the Tijuana Toros. "It's rare that you actually try to hit a home run," Santiago told reporters after the game. "Most of the time you fail, if you really try to hit one. But today, I was really trying on that last one." In all, he was 3-for-5 as the Capitals toppled Tijuana by a score of 4-3, knocking in 3 runs and scoring 3 times.
