Salas Has 30-Game Hitting Streak Wednesday, September 9th , 2048 Amarillo catcher Ryan Salas keeps on racking up hits every time he plays. His hitting streak now stands at 30 games after collecting 1 hit at Ballpark of Amarillo today. The ThunderHeads took the 13-1 victory over the Colorado Avalanche. "I have been seeing the ball really good the last few weeks, but I am a bit surprised how things are working out," Salas said. "I've gotten a couple flares to drop in, so I've also been a little lucky." Ryan Salas walked in the 1st, struck out in the 3rd, flied out in the 5th, walked in the 6th and singled in the 7th. Currently Salas is hitting .367 and has collected 28 home runs, 82 RBIs and scored 89 times, while playing in 92 games. |
