Avalanche Mathematically Out of Playoffs Wednesday, September 23rd , 2048 In the middle of a disastrous season, it would be understandable if Colorado Avalanche fans had already started to turn their attention to next year. Doubly so as of today, as the Avalanche have now been officially eliminated from playoff contention. Before this season, the Avalanche had made the playoffs 3 times in a row. In the 27 years they have been a Pioneer Baseball League franchise, they have made the playoffs 17 times. In the last 10 seasons, the Avalanche have only missed the playoffs once. Colorado last won the World Series in 2047. |
