Tuesday, November 24th , 2048
Kyle Wood said he thinks hitters often underestimate him, as he's only 25 years old.
But he'll certainly be getting a lot more respect now, as the Victoria Capitals rising star has won the Western League Reliever of the Year Award for 2048.
He captured the award on the strength of his 1.22 ERA over 111 innings. He also had 6 saves in 49 relief appearances, 183 strikeouts and only 21 walks.
He received 30 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Jose Rios of the Victoria Capitals finished second in voting, while Matt Lee of the Victoria Capitals finished third.
