Missions Sanchez Dominates Cardinals
|
Springfield dropped a 5-0 shutout to Luis Sanchez and the San Antonio Missions at Nelson W. Wolff Municipal Stadium today. The Cardinals offered little resistance to Sanchez, who stopped them on 3 hits, fanned 8 and walked 0.
"It just felt right today," the left-handed Sanchez told reporters after the win. "Even with the rain, it didn't throw me off my rhythm."
To date this year, Sanchez shows a 18-6 record, 30 starts, 205.2 innings, 173 strikeouts and a 2.89 ERA.
