Braves Drop Marlins, 6-3
|
Despite a fine performance by left fielder Bert Clark, the Miami Marlins lost to the Atlanta Braves, 6-3. Clark went 3 for 3 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. Atlanta pitcher Jeremy Kasten got the win. He's now 4-2. Pharamond Lestrange was tagged with the loss. The Braves improved to a lofty 24-10.
Tade Post, the 26-year old catcher , had a direct impact on the outcome. Post contributed a run-scoring walk in the top of the seventh inning to put Atlanta up, 5-3.
Post called the win the result of "everyone working in tandem."
