Mark Reeg made an impact in the 5-3 California win over Oakland. Reeg, who is tied for 8th in the AL in runs scored with 27, was 2-3 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. Bryan Banana earned the save, his 3rd. With the win, the Angels have a record of 26-16.
Reeg had a key at-bat for California early in the game. With a runner on 2nd, he hit a 2-run home run. It was his 15th home run of the season and gave California an early 2-0 lead.
"It all depends on which version of our team shows up," said Reeg. "When we put it all together, I think we're a great team."
