Sosa Takes Charge, Blanks Greenville, 4-0
|
Jon Sosa blitzed the Greenville Drive at Fluor Field at the West End today, pitching the Lansing Lugnuts to victory, 4-0. Sosa needed 9 innings to shut out the Drive, striking out 7.
"I knew he had it in him, but it's still nice to see him put it all together," said Lansing manager Murray Yerzy.
Sosa surrendered 4 hits and 1 walk in the outing.
So far this year Sosa has compiled a 14-6 record with a 2.44 ERA.
