Starter Terry Romaine was in charge the whole game in the Peoria Chiefs victory over the Binghamton Mets today. In a superb performance, Romaine blanked Binghamton 9-0, yielding 1 hit while registering 12 strikeouts and no walks.
"That was a fun one," the 26-year-old said later.
This season Romaine has worked 50.1 innings with 62 strikeouts en route to a 5-0 record and a 3.04 ERA.
