Reds Hand Cardinals 6-4 Loss
|
The Cincinnati Reds knocked off the St. Louis Cardinals, 6-4, at Busch Stadium. Chris Grunwald was a big reason Cincinnati won. The first baseman went 3-3 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Robbie Delgado nailed down his 2nd save. At 24-30, Cincinnati is in 4th place in the National League Central Division.
Antonio Figueroa, the 31-year old second baseman , had a direct impact on the outcome. Figueroa contributed a 2-run single in the top of the sixth inning to put Cincinnati up, 6-4.
"It feels good, just a great win all around," Grunwald said after the game.
