Rangers Drop Yankees, 5-4
|
The Rangers grabbed a win, 5-4, at Yankee Stadium, overcoming a fine effort from New York pitcher Edwin Espinal. Espinal went 5 innings and allowed no runs. Kyle Curve finished the game for Texas and earned his 3rd save. With the victory, the Rangers upped their record to 35-30.
Jake Rheaume, the 26-year old center fielder , had a direct impact on the outcome. Rheaume contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the 20th inning to put Texas up, 5-4.
"The harder you work," said Rheaume, "the luckier you get."
