Harris Dominant in Dodgers Victory
|
In a low-scoring contest, Los Angeles pitcher Jon Harris was marvelous in his team's 2-1 win. At 32-47, the Dodgers find themselves in last place in the National League West Division.
Harris, the winner, is now 2-4. In 7 innings of work, he gave up no runs on 2 hits, while collecting 4 Ks. He essentially shut down the New York offense.
Harris told a Los Angeles Chronicle reporter that he was "gratified" with the win.
