Angels Paste 5-2 Loss on Yankees
|
California Angels starter Harambe Vick turned in a top-notch performance against the New York Yankees at Yankee Stadium. The result was a win for the Angels, 5-2. California goes to 48-35. The win puts them 5½ games up in their division.
California used the timely hitting of Micah Miller to capture the win. The right fielder socked a 3-run home run in the top of the sixth inning to put the Angels ahead, 5-2. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a big one.
"It was just a matter of executing," said California manager Dakota Wise.
