Astros Take Down Giants, 3-1
|
Houston starter Brian Lynch put a stranglehold on the San Francisco offense. The right-hander had complete command of his changeup in leading the Astros to a 3-1 win. The Astros now have a mark of 38-58.
Elijah Hunter dealt the Giants a blow in the top of the third. Batting with runners on 1st and 3rd and Houston leading 1-0, Hunter, the 3rd overall pick in the 2045 draft, hit a 2-2 circle change for a run-scoring single.
"Nice to put this one in the win column," said Hunter.
