Dodgers Upend Nationals, 10-4
Washington got a terrific game from third baseman Kirk Arp. It wasn't enough, though, to prevent the team from falling to Los Angeles, 10-4. Arp went 3 for 5 with 2 home runs. Nate Allen came out of the bullpen to earn the win. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 1.2 innings. His record now stands at 2-2. The last-place Dodgers lifted their record to 41-56.

Lirak Bazhunaishvili, the three-time All-Star , had a direct impact on the outcome. Bazhunaishvili contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the fifth inning to put Los Angeles up, 4-2.

"We were able to get some things going offensively," said Bazhunaishvili.
