Super Swinger -- Cooper Slams 5 Hits
There aren't many who could be pro ballplayers and there are even fewer who could put up 5 hits in a day.

Chris Cooper is one of those rare few, as he went 5-for-6 against the Baltimore Orioles at Oriole Park at Camden Yards today. The monster effort from the 31-year-old left fielder helped the Chicago White Sox take the win, 17-1.

"We made some bad pitches and he took advantage of it," said Orioles manager John Baltimore. "That's the game, though. Don't make mistakes and you'll win ballgames. Make mistakes and, well, you saw what happened today."

Chris Cooper hit a two-run home run off Pat Wiggins in the 2nd, hit a two-run home run off Pat Wiggins in the 4th, struck out in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th, singled in the 9th and hit a three-run double in the 9th.

So far this season Cooper is batting .316 with 9 home runs, 26 RBIs and 18 runs scored. He has 25 hits in 79 at-bats, 13 walks and a .432 OBP. Cooper has played in 25 games.
