Yankees Beat Baltimore, 7-6
|
The New York Yankees stopped the Baltimore Orioles, 7-6, at Oriole Park at Camden Yards. The Yankees got a big game from Ryan Neal, who went 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Joel Pacheco was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 24 of 26 save opportunities. The win puts the Yankees at 52-68, while the Orioles drop to 48-73.
Neal had a clutch at-bat in the top of the eighth for the Yankees. Coming up with the bases loaded and New York trailing 6-5, he hit a 2-run single.
"Good win for our guys," said Neal.
