Stevens Brings A-Game, Braves Beat Mets
|
The Atlanta Braves got a strong performance from pitcher Curt Stevens, who stymied the New York offense en route to a win, 5-0, at Citi Field. With the win, Atlanta raised its record to 91-47.
Stevens delivered a quality start for Atlanta. The 5' 10" right-hander allowed no earned runs on 3 hits over 8.1 innings of work.
"Curt was pounding the zone," said Atlanta manager Andres Wray II.
