Orioles Drop Another One, 6-5
|
The Houston Astros turned back the Baltimore Orioles, 6-5, at Minute Maid Park. Jack Christie, in particular, had a fine performance. He was 1-2 with a home run and 2 walks, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3. The Orioles have now dropped 5 straight.
In the bottom of the sixth, Houston right fielder Bryce Hill put his team on top. With one out and a runner on 1st, he hit his 21st home run of the year. Baltimore pitcher Pat Wiggins served it up. Just like that, the Astros were ahead, 6-5.
"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Hill told the Houston Herald.
